In this video you will learn how to navigate to the enrollment tab to launch the enrollment scheduler. In addition, you will learn how to set your filters and breaks in the enrollment scheduler.

[00:00:06.000]before starting the registration process
[00:00:08.160]log in to MyRED and use your N U ID number and password.
[00:00:13.420]Once you're into MyRED
[00:00:14.540]this should be the first screen that you see.
[00:00:17.010]From here you will go up to navigate to the enrollment tab,
[00:00:21.460]double click on the enrollment tab,
[00:00:24.030]and this will be your next screen.
[00:00:26.170]Your screen should have a tab that says spring 2021.
[00:00:30.120]Please make sure you're on the spring 2021 tab.
[00:00:33.490]Once you are, you will click build schedule and enroll.
[00:00:38.580]This launches, the enrollment scheduler.
[00:00:42.740]From here we're gonna select campus
[00:00:47.400]in which you take classes.
[00:00:48.920]Most of our students in the college education human sciences
[00:00:51.690]will take classes on city campus and East campus.
[00:00:54.950]In addition, you will also want to make sure
[00:00:56.930]that distance delivery is clicked.
[00:00:58.890]So the enrollment scheduler looks for class options
[00:01:02.470]not only on city and East campus, but also online options.
[00:01:06.420]Once those fields have been marked
[00:01:08.080]we will click and continue.
[00:01:11.490]On this screen, this is where we will set
[00:01:13.520]your filters and add the breaks.
[00:01:17.080]Up here is our first filter.
[00:01:18.770]You're gonna wanna click on change.
[00:01:20.690]And these are your three options.
[00:01:22.580]Open class only, open and full with waitlist option,
[00:01:25.560]and open and full.
[00:01:27.440]Mark open classes only and save.
[00:01:30.760]The next filter is campuses.
[00:01:33.170]This should look similar to the screen that we just left.
[00:01:36.600]We marked city campus, East campus and distance delivery.
[00:01:40.690]This is where you'd go if you want to edit
[00:01:42.860]and maybe look for classes on Nebraska Innovation campus.
[00:01:46.317]Most students, you will keep this the same
[00:01:49.010]as city campus, East campus and distance delivery.
[00:01:52.150]And then hit save.
[00:01:53.840]Instruction mode.
[00:01:55.300]This is is how the class is going to be offered.
[00:01:57.880]So in person, online distance class,
[00:02:00.370]and online class on campus testing are our three options
[00:02:03.730]that we wanna mark.

[00:02:09.080]Make sure that it is marked regular academic session.

[00:02:14.400]Now that we have the filters set
[00:02:16.370]we are gonna look at breaks.
[00:02:17.950]You will notice I already added two breaks.
[00:02:20.520]I added a lunch break from noon to one Monday through Friday
[00:02:24.090]and a work opportunity from Tuesday, Thursdays
[00:02:27.080]from four to five.
[00:02:28.320]We are going to add another break and say,

[00:02:50.730]What the breaks allows the enrollment scheduler to do
[00:02:53.350]is to look for class options
[00:02:55.330]around the breaks that you indicated.
[00:02:57.610]If you don't have any breaks that you want to put
[00:02:59.820]on your schedule, that is fine.

[00:03:03.830]the enrollment scheduler offers.
