[00:00:05.770]we're all so excited to be back on campus for the start of the fall semester.

[00:00:12.080]are just a few of the reasons why there is no place like Nebraska.
[00:00:16.280]2020 has proven that we can't take this experience of being on-campus for granted.
[00:00:20.420]It's crucial for each and every one of us to practice the necessary safety

[00:00:24.320]both on campus and off, to ensure that this semester is safe and successful.
[00:00:29.090]This includes wearing a facial covering, practicing social distancing,
[00:00:32.990]washing our hands frequently,
[00:00:34.430]self-monitoring for symptoms, and making use of the free on-campus
[00:00:38.330]COVID-19 testing.
[00:00:39.720]Students, what we want this semester to look like is up to us. While we understand the
[00:00:44.360]social aspect of college is important.
[00:00:46.580]The truth is our health and that of others is far more important.
[00:00:50.090]We have a responsibility to everyone on this campus and in our communities to
[00:00:54.530]show them how much we care about others by being safe and avoiding large parties
[00:00:59.150]and crowded bars.
[00:01:00.550]The students, faculty, and staff in the College of Education and Human Sciences are what
[00:01:05.540]make this college so great.
[00:01:06.860]Being able to come to campus each day and work together in-person to achieve our
[00:01:11.300]collective goals is a privilege.
[00:01:13.760]I join your fellow students in urging you to do your part
[00:01:17.060]to keep our community safe and ensure our on-campus experience gets to
[00:01:21.620]last all semester. Remember, we're all in this together.
