[00:00:07.200]and it seemed like political science was the main major
[00:00:11.040]that a lot of pre-law people go to.
[00:00:13.630]But I definitely wanted to add in my own experiences
[00:00:16.110]as a first-generation American, my parents are immigrants,
[00:00:19.170]so that's why I added global studies,
[00:00:22.050]is I wanted the global perspective of it.
[00:00:24.500]Hopefully, one day I will be an immigration lawyer.
[00:00:28.200]When I was a kid, my idea of a superhero
[00:00:30.650]was always a lawyer.
[00:00:31.740]So I've always known that I wanted to be a lawyer.
[00:00:34.870]I wanted to give voices to people that have been silenced.

[00:00:43.140]along with some of my friends in Lincoln, and we were like,
[00:00:45.257]"We have to do something, we can't just sit at home.
[00:00:48.000]We have to do something."
[00:00:49.410]So that's when we organized the first march,
[00:00:51.800]that was the first time.
[00:00:52.790]And then we went the next day,
[00:00:54.425]and the next day, and the next day.
[00:00:56.522]And then the next thing you know,
[00:00:57.360]we were doing it all summer.
[00:01:01.100]This is our campus, and it can be what you want it to be.

[00:01:08.440]If you're in class and you feel like your story
[00:01:10.680]isn't being told, tell your story.
