- [00:00:01.440]Hello, this is what to expect for fall 2020.
- [00:00:07.427]At a glance, the semester begins on Monday, August 17th,
- [00:00:11.270]and all courses will begin in the online format.
- [00:00:14.100]Then any in person classes begin on August 24th
- [00:00:17.390]and the semester ends on Wednesday, November 25th.
- [00:00:20.741]On August 17 classes begin online.
- [00:00:24.050]It will be available using Canvas
- [00:00:25.550]and you should plan to log into each course daily.
- [00:00:29.180]The style of learning will be asynchronous,
- [00:00:31.400]meaning the classes will not be held live
- [00:00:33.440]at the scheduled time,
- [00:00:34.750]but will be available on demand.
- [00:00:36.780]You may have assignments due during this week
- [00:00:39.040]so log in each day to complete them.
- [00:00:42.650]On August 24th, classes that are are in-person
- [00:00:45.733]and the live format will begin in that format on campus.

- [00:00:58.360]Go into MyRed click on Enrollment,
- [00:01:00.680]View Schedule and note the location of your class,
- [00:01:03.310]which will link directly to a campus map.
- [00:01:06.040]Fully online courses will be noted as online
- [00:01:08.780]or distance delivery.
- [00:01:11.280]Now, if you are an Option 2 student,
- [00:01:13.050]meaning you're arriving on campus
- [00:01:14.330]between August 24th and September 20th,
- [00:01:17.040]you'll want to contact your instructors for any classes
- [00:01:19.430]that are not fully online
- [00:01:21.120]explaining that you're an international student
- [00:01:23.390]arriving later in the semester
- [00:01:25.250]and would like to request accommodations.

- [00:01:28.430]how you can complete the first part of the semester online.
