[00:00:09.090]With ten locations spread across City and East campus,
[00:00:13.270]the University Libraries is the largest library in the state
[00:00:16.560]and provides access to over three million items
[00:00:19.450]including books, online databases & journals,
[00:00:22.576]movies, streaming music, media equipment and more.
[00:00:27.453]Along with these resources, we have faculty librarians
[00:00:30.843]who work with students and support their academic success.

[00:00:37.908]by providing research help in-person and online via email, Zoom, and Chat,

[00:00:51.913]The largest location is Love Library located right in the heart of City Campus.
[00:00:57.047]Love Library is really two buildings connected by a “Link”.
[00:01:01.112]Love South is the iconic building featured on
[00:01:03.375]promotional materials for the campus
[00:01:06.019]Built in the early 1940s, Love Library was the largest building on campus
[00:01:10.379]and was initially used as living space for cadets
[00:01:14.072]in the Army Specialized Training Program during World War II.
[00:01:17.907]In 1972 an addition was built, Love North,
[00:01:21.633]which now features the Adele Coryell Hall Learning Commons.
[00:01:28.482]In Love Library, we offer services and campus partners
[00:01:31.962]that were created to support our students.
[00:01:34.292]Our building partners include the Center for Academic Success & Transition,
[00:01:39.653]the Exploratory and Para-professional Advising Center,
[00:01:43.784]Education Abroad,
[00:01:45.361]the Digital Testing Center,
[00:01:47.976]and HuskerTech, the campus technology help center
[00:01:52.122]UNL Libraries offers a variety of study spaces
[00:01:55.542]to meet many different learning styles and needs
[00:01:59.516]We are also one of the largest student employers
[00:02:02.284]hiring more than 200 student assistants each year.
