- [00:00:15.980]In this video I'll be explaining how to drop a course.
- [00:00:20.280]First and foremost, it is important that you discuss with
- [00:00:23.240]your advisor before making any changes to your schedule.
- [00:00:26.660]Once you drop a course, you're not guaranteed a spot back
- [00:00:30.040]in the course if you realize that you've made a mistake.
- [00:00:34.030]To begin, log into your My Red account.
- [00:00:37.400]Next, click on the red enrollment tab.
- [00:00:40.690]Select the correct term,
- [00:00:43.930]and then select the blue drop class button.
- [00:00:47.490]Your current enrolled courses will appear.
- [00:00:50.290]On the left side find the course you are trying to drop,
- [00:00:55.120]and select the drop down arrow just after the course name.
- [00:00:59.070]Select drop class.
- [00:01:01.340]This message informs you of how much of a refund
- [00:01:04.290]you can expect fro the course you're dropping.
- [00:01:08.250]The course should now be dropped.
- [00:01:10.320]This page will show your updated schedule,
- [00:01:12.810]so you can scroll down to make sure
- [00:01:14.580]the course was successfully dropped.
