Take Apart Toys

This is a great engaging activity to really encourage independent play and exploration. I encourage creating a space specifically for this activity that way you can have guidelines for what you can work on. You can bring in any type of materials, we had an old radio laying around that we took apart, as well as a bunch of old broken toys. They helps them to develop their fine motor skills of taking apart as well as their cognition skills of understanding and exploring how things work and come apart. Length: 2:18; 3 years and older
