Join us as we explore shadows! Here are two simple ways to play using shadows. We will explore doing shadow drawing with chalk and everyday objects outside. We will also explore making shadow puppets and telling stories! Children can practice cutting, drawing and telling stories using shadows.

[00:00:16.000]What you need for shadow drawing is some toys from

[00:01:09.990]a shadow puppet theater and some shadow puppets
[00:01:12.410]out of simple things that you have around the house.
[00:01:14.780]So I'm gonna cut a hole in this box that we got,
[00:01:18.410]and this is gonna be our puppet theater.

[00:01:33.221]So we reinforced it with a little bit of tape around
[00:01:36.290]the edges but this is our final
[00:01:39.290]product for our shadow puppet theater.

[00:01:46.440]Next we are gonna find a blanket or you could also use
[00:01:50.390]a piece of paper, anything that you can see through
[00:01:53.450]and we're gonna make the part that goes on the front
[00:01:57.240]so that we can do our shadow puppets.
