- [00:00:08.500]Hi friend.
- [00:00:10.960]Today Weston is going to show you
- [00:00:14.410]his baby sister Kelsa, who's almost
- [00:00:17.210]six months old.
- [00:00:19.020]He's gonna show you some of Kelsa's favorite toys.
- [00:00:22.420]Go ahead, Weston.
- [00:00:23.253]Show us some of Kelsa's favorite toys.
- [00:00:25.340]This matches the firetruck.
- [00:00:27.730]It does, show it to us.
- [00:00:30.730]Why does Kelsa like that.
- [00:00:32.270]Because she likes it.
- [00:00:34.320]She likes it?
- [00:00:35.153]Do you want to give it to her and see
- [00:00:36.110]if she wants to play with it?
- [00:00:38.039](baby cooing)
- [00:00:41.800]So we like this bell a lot
- [00:00:43.050]because it's really easy for Kelsa to hold.
- [00:00:46.160]And she does put it in her mouth,
- [00:00:48.110]and we do check to make sure the bell
- [00:00:50.350]is securely on there
- [00:00:51.360]but it's on there really tight.
- [00:00:53.030]So I check it about every day,
- [00:00:54.840]just to make sure it's not getting loose,
- [00:00:56.520]but it's on there nice and tight.
- [00:00:58.470]That's one of her favorite toys.
- [00:01:00.630]Weston, what other toys does Kelsa like to play with?
- [00:01:03.400]The ballerina.
- [00:01:05.077]Can you show it.
- [00:01:06.702]She likes this.
- [00:01:07.535]Oh she likes this.
- [00:01:08.368]Show them how it works.
- [00:01:11.330]Oh yup.
- [00:01:12.163]And turn it. Yup.
- [00:01:13.110]And then you turn it over, and you can pop those little
- [00:01:16.090]dots back. Ooh.
- [00:01:18.300]They're loud.
- [00:01:19.140]Can you show that rattle down there that she likes.
- [00:01:22.359]Her hold it?
- [00:01:23.192]Yup can you show that?
- [00:01:24.820]And then what else?
- [00:01:25.653]If you shake it what does it do?
- [00:01:29.220]It moves.
- [00:01:30.053]It moves.
- [00:01:30.886]And what does it sound like?
- [00:01:33.481]Like that.
- [00:01:34.314]Yeah. Oh you can hear it right with your ears?
- [00:01:36.260]What other toys, can you show us some other toys
- [00:01:38.070]that Kelsa likes?
- [00:01:39.090]This one goes up and down.
- [00:01:41.000]It does.
- [00:01:41.833]Here can you show us?
- [00:01:43.220]Do it really slow.
- [00:01:44.460]Turn it over upside down.
- [00:01:45.590]Oh yeah.
- [00:01:47.100]See it goes up and down.
- [00:01:48.810]Great, can you show us some more toys on Kelsa's shelf?
- [00:01:51.110]Uh hu.
- [00:01:52.610]There a fire truck with these things.
- [00:01:55.190]Oh can you show me the book?
- [00:01:56.638]Show me the cover?
- [00:01:58.447]Show me the cover of it?
- [00:02:00.870]Like this?
- [00:02:01.703]I wanna show you the cover.
- [00:02:03.405]Yeah and show me the other one.
- [00:02:05.848]And this one match.
- [00:02:07.990]Oh yeah they match.
- [00:02:08.823]So you can see they show you a bunch of other book
- [00:02:11.020]suggestions on the back.
- [00:02:12.610]And these books are babies.
- [00:02:16.507]Look it their same.
- [00:02:18.620]Yeah look it's the same.
- [00:02:20.440]The book is the same, they have the picture,
- [00:02:22.410]we have the book and they have the suggestion on the back.
- [00:02:25.410]And these books are baby proof so Kelsa can chew on them.
- [00:02:28.723]And. And.
- [00:02:33.380]We got on the too.
- [00:02:35.070]Yeah and then this book that we have.
- [00:02:38.320]We like this book a lot "Baby, let's eat."
- [00:02:41.120]and show this book.
- [00:02:41.953]Baby we like go eat.
- [00:02:44.275]And we like "Baby Babble."
- [00:02:45.160]Okay Weston show us some more toys.
- [00:02:46.810]What other toys does Kelsa like?
- [00:02:48.910]Here put these ones back for now.
- [00:02:51.384]No.
- [00:02:52.770]He's got to find the match.
- [00:02:55.830]Can you find the match on the back?
- [00:02:58.670]Sometimes we have to move at our children's speed,
- [00:03:00.620]not our own.
- [00:03:03.370]Is there a match on the back?
- [00:03:04.535]Oh. Oh look it.
- [00:03:05.710]Did you find it?
- [00:03:07.600]Look at this one.
- [00:03:08.433]There it is.
- [00:03:09.266]You found the match.
- [00:03:10.520]Okay can you show us.
- [00:03:11.840]Oo can you show us this ball over here?
- [00:03:15.110]We also like the mirror.
- [00:03:16.230]Kelsa likes her mirror a lot.
- [00:03:18.180]Can you pick up that colorful ball?
- [00:03:21.377]I'm gonna pick this up.
- [00:03:22.736]You're gonna pick up the mirror
- [00:03:23.580]and show them the mirror.
- [00:03:24.540]Ideally the mirror would be secured to the wall.
- [00:03:28.510]Weston likes to carry it around right now
- [00:03:31.030]and we have to watch that he doesn't drop it on his sister.
- [00:03:34.840]Okay here Weston.
- [00:03:36.060]Can you show them the silver ball?
- [00:03:37.990]Can you show them that silver ball there?
- [00:03:40.090]These are stainless steel.
- [00:03:42.506]That we like these a lot.
- [00:03:43.910]Are those for throwing?
- [00:03:45.114]No.
- [00:03:45.947]No. Can you roll it?
- [00:03:47.580]Yup, you can roll it.
- [00:03:49.440]They're really cool when you look into them.
- [00:03:51.430]You get to see like the ceiling
- [00:03:53.610]and everything all around you.
- [00:03:55.200]So Kelsa's trying to reach for that one,
- [00:03:56.990]and she likes that a lot.
- [00:03:59.216]Uh oh.
- [00:04:00.049]She likes this rattle, this little like
- [00:04:02.320]I don't even know what to call this.
- [00:04:03.360]But it doesn't make a noise,
- [00:04:04.520]but it's got little mirrors on it,
- [00:04:05.890]and it's all different colors.
- [00:04:07.760]So she likes that one a lot.
- [00:04:09.670]But no I like this.
- [00:04:11.190]Oh you like it too?
- [00:04:13.080]We also really like these round O-Balls.
- [00:04:16.814]This too.
- [00:04:17.647]They are really awesome.
- [00:04:19.067]This too.
- [00:04:20.487]There's two of these things.
- [00:04:23.030]We do have two.
- [00:04:23.863]There's one here, and one at daddy's office.
- [00:04:25.806]Uh hu.
- [00:04:26.639]And we like these.
- [00:04:27.472]Kelsa's gonna grab this one.
- [00:04:28.440]We like these, these balls are one of the first
- [00:04:30.570]balls we use for our babies
- [00:04:33.430]because they can grab them really easily with their hands.
- [00:04:37.130]So even when their teeny tiny,
- [00:04:39.510]pretty small around two to three months old,
- [00:04:42.010]when they grab, they'll get their fingers
- [00:04:44.500]kind of just caught in it.
- [00:04:45.710]Not intentionally yet.
- [00:04:47.580]Kelsa's almost six months old,
- [00:04:49.040]so she intentionally grabs for objects.
- [00:04:51.462](baby babbling)
- [00:04:52.390]We also love these, their called cats.
- [00:04:56.110]Little fabric cats.
- [00:04:57.820]So she likes, she's liking that one too.
- [00:05:00.110]We like these cats a lot.
- [00:05:01.180]She chews on them,
- [00:05:02.250]she shakes them and they rattle.
- [00:05:04.020]We have this one and a little orange one
- [00:05:05.420]that she likes a lot.
- [00:05:07.542]But yeah, so those are some of Kelsa's favorite toys.
- [00:05:11.810]Weston can you say have a beautiful day?
- [00:05:13.960]Have a beautiful day.
- [00:05:16.460](upbeat music)
