Sunshine Kids for Seniors Project was started by Lincoln’s Mayor, Leirion Gaylor Baird, to encourage children to create artwork for seniors. The drawings and notes can be sent to sunshinekids@lincoln.ne.gov. The art work will lift the spirits of our seniors and promote intergenerational interaction in our community. Have fun creating! [00:00:37.650]Sunshine Kids for Seniors involves two simple steps.

[00:00:46.090]or create colorful, uplifting artwork.
[00:00:48.620]The size of the piece should not exceed eight
[00:00:50.970]and a half by 11 inches and the kids should use
[00:00:53.790]their first names only.

[00:00:59.280]and emailed to sunshinekids@lincoln.ne.gov.

[00:01:08.790]and distributed to seniors with home-delivered meals
