- [00:00:00.760]Hi Huskers, my name is Wyatt Hubbard.
- [00:00:03.370]I'm a sophomore, agricultural education,
- [00:00:06.060]teaching and leadership double option
- [00:00:08.050]from Elm Creek, Nebraska.
- [00:00:10.040]And I'm one of your CASNR Career Peer Coaches.
- [00:00:13.620]I graduated from Elm Creek High School
- [00:00:15.950]with the class of 2018.
- [00:00:18.580]In high school, I was heavily involved
- [00:00:20.900]in multiple different school activities, mainly FFA.
- [00:00:26.040]My involvement did not end in high school.
- [00:00:29.480]Throughout my career here at the university,
- [00:00:32.480]I have been involved in a lot of different activities,
- [00:00:36.700]including the Men's Club volleyball team, Ag Ed Club,
- [00:00:40.860]Collegiate Block and Bridle, Collegiate Farm Bureau,
- [00:00:43.840]and just about anything in between those.
- [00:00:46.690]I'm most heavily involved with Alpha Gamma Sigma fraternity
- [00:00:50.870]and New Student Enrollment,
- [00:00:52.680]being an orientation leader for the 2020 school year.
- [00:00:57.470]I also enjoy hanging out with friends
- [00:01:00.250]and catching a Husker volleyball or football game
- [00:01:03.030]every now and then.
- [00:01:05.190]Growing up, I always loved to work with cattle.
- [00:01:11.130]I guess not really always.
- [00:01:13.180]My parents forced me to do 4-H when I was eight
- [00:01:16.010]and show cattle, and I hated it,
- [00:01:18.040]and I wanted them to know it.
- [00:01:19.940]But it ultimately ended up providing me
- [00:01:23.280]with a lot of great memories and some great pictures,
- [00:01:27.120]like the one in the middle with one of my favorite quotes,
- [00:01:30.920]be humble, be hungry,
- [00:01:32.900]and always be the hardest worker in the room.
- [00:01:36.160]Through 4-H and FFA, with the help of my family,
- [00:01:40.100]I was able to find my passion for agricultural education.
- [00:01:44.930]I grew up in Elm Creek, Nebraska
- [00:01:46.830]with my three older sisters,
- [00:01:49.300]and, of course, being the youngest child,
- [00:01:52.910]I'm the only one in this picture
- [00:01:54.960]who isn't married and have kids by now.
- [00:01:59.770]Another important fact about me is that I love to travel.
- [00:02:04.940]I visited 16 states and three countries
- [00:02:09.870]and can't wait to see more
- [00:02:11.420]of this beautiful world that we live in.
- [00:02:14.300]I also love to take pictures everywhere I go.
- [00:02:18.570]So if you ever need a laptop background, I'm your guy.
- [00:02:23.040]All right, Huskers,
- [00:02:24.150]that's about all that I've got for this video.
