The Bureau of Business Research (BBR) Scholars Program

The Bureau of Business Research (BBR) provides Nebraska companies, non-profits and government agencies with valuable, unbiased research. Its Bureau Scholars Program gives bright undergrads an opportunity to participate in those projects. Our scholars gain valuable research experience under the direct supervision of faculty and staff. We want to prepare them for their futures. BBR Scholars co-authored numerous reports, journals and articles including the Business in Nebraska, Skills Gap Reports and the recently published Nebraska Thriving Index. They also present posters at the research fair, co-host webinars, and get invited to interviews and podcasts. We facilitate seminars and training sessions through the academic year, covering topics including data collection, survey methods, regression analysis, and data visualization.
