- [00:00:25.080]Hi, I am LaShanna and it is a beautiful day.
- [00:00:27.860]Today I'm going to show you how to make a water cycle
- [00:00:30.730]in a bag.
- [00:00:31.630]Here's what you need,
- [00:00:33.750]a bag,
- [00:00:37.045]a cup of water, food coloring,
- [00:00:42.310]a permanent marker,
- [00:00:44.350]some tape,
- [00:00:46.470]some scissors,
- [00:00:49.110]a spoon
- [00:00:50.910]and a towel so you don't get your table dirty.
- [00:00:54.660]Now,
- [00:00:57.210]first off, I am going to draw,
- [00:01:01.150]a Sun,
- [00:01:04.700]some clouds,
- [00:01:14.530]and a lake.
- [00:01:21.950]And don't forget to put fish in your lake.
- [00:01:40.772]Okay.
- [00:01:44.902](laughs)
- [00:01:48.240]Here's what I drew.
- [00:01:52.090]All right.
- [00:01:53.370]Now, for the water, we're going to take our food coloring
- [00:01:59.560]and
- [00:02:01.100]we, could have used blue, so it would be a blue lake,
- [00:02:04.970]but we didn't have any, so we're gonna use green.
- [00:02:09.120]One drop of green food coloring.
- [00:02:13.300]I'm going to stir that in.
- [00:02:17.390]Can you do it without food coloring?
- [00:02:20.290]And yes, you can do it without food coloring,
- [00:02:23.040]but,
- [00:02:24.750]if you use coloring,
- [00:02:26.420]you can see it a bit better than clear water.
- [00:02:31.906]Then,
- [00:02:34.660]we're gonna fill up
- [00:02:37.230]our lake.
- [00:02:41.460]Parents, you might wanna help your child on this,
- [00:02:44.930]also might wanna do it over a sink.
- [00:02:57.701](mumbles)
- [00:03:00.160]There we go, and then you're gonna seal it back up.
- [00:03:10.620]Take two pieces of tape,
- [00:03:15.300]and put them in the corner of your bag
- [00:03:18.800]and make sure that you'll be able to put it on something.
- [00:03:30.350]It's hanging off the edges.
- [00:03:33.940]Then,
- [00:03:36.590]let's take this over to the window.
- [00:03:39.210]We're going to place it where the Sun can heat up the water.
- [00:03:45.940]And,
- [00:03:48.080]we placed this one, a couple of hours ago in the window,
- [00:03:52.890]and, the water would evaporate
- [00:03:57.230]and turn into a cloud,
- [00:03:59.060]and then the cloud would rain and the rain would go back
- [00:04:03.070]into the lake,
- [00:04:04.600]and then this water cycle would continue
- [00:04:08.510]if you leave it in your window.
