[00:00:00.130]So, let's talk about the weather.
[00:00:02.810]What is Nebraska like in the summer
[00:00:05.970]and the fall and the winter?
[00:00:07.850]Okay, so I would describe it with three adjectives.
[00:00:11.850]So for the summer, beautiful ever.
[00:00:15.300]The time period between summer and winter,
[00:00:18.100]it's gonna be unpredictable.
[00:00:19.690]You can see that it's sunny right now
[00:00:21.860]and I'm having a jacket on me.
[00:00:24.070]That means it was cold in the morning,
[00:00:25.910]but right now it's sunny.
[00:00:27.420]The winter is typically a lot
[00:00:29.450]of snow, right, a lot of ice.
[00:00:31.700]So we see students bundled up in jackets.
[00:00:34.260]We need snow boots.
[00:00:36.150]We need the whole winter gear, right?
[00:00:38.660]I came here in January in the spring semester,
[00:00:42.470]I remember the day it was minus 16.
[00:00:45.780]And I was thinking that I would not be able
[00:00:47.780]to survive here, seriously, but now I'm here.
[00:00:50.680]I'm here for like three years and I love snow.
[00:00:54.620]So what kinds of items would you recommend
[00:00:57.750]for students who've never been to Nebraska
[00:01:01.180]to buy to kind of prepare for weather in Nebraska?
[00:01:05.570]So what I bought here when I came
[00:01:08.560]was snow shoes and a snow jacket
[00:01:12.830]and maybe a woolen cap, if you don't have it.
[00:01:17.060]But definitely be a lot of woolen clothes
[00:01:18.990]for the winters but the summer is also amazing
[00:01:21.570]so you can have all the outfits that you want to wear.
[00:01:24.390]You have like two choices winter closet
[00:01:26.818]and a summer closet.
[00:01:28.377]And probably a little bit of in between.
[00:01:31.839]So like, for example, today you were saying
[00:01:35.353]it was cold in the morning and now it's hot,
[00:01:36.650]so a light jacket is good.
[00:01:39.260]And in the classroom it also can get
[00:01:41.440]a little bit chilly sometimes.
[00:01:44.100]So maybe a light sweater.
