[00:00:15.870]Well, lets' see, I'm an early riser
[00:00:18.050]so I'm up at 4:30-5:00 in the morning
[00:00:20.820]and first coffee of the day is a triple espresso.
[00:00:25.400]I get it in a short cup, triple espresso,
[00:00:27.970]with a splash of hot water.
[00:00:29.450]It's technically Americano, but really it's
[00:00:32.570]a triple espresso.

[00:00:34.930]Yeah, and I usually go to my home store,
[00:00:37.670]it's about a mile from our home.

[00:00:39.643]I say good morning to Starbucks partners

[00:00:47.270]and I usually will maybe read the paper

[00:00:53.563]When I get into the office I make a French press.
[00:00:57.140]My favorite coffee on the French press
[00:00:59.330]is called aged Sumatra.
[00:01:01.730]It is coffee grown in Sumatra, that we age in burlap bags
[00:01:06.140]in Singapore for three to five years.
[00:01:08.650]And then three to five years later we roast that coffee
[00:01:11.520]and it has very earthy, very unique flavor.
[00:01:14.480]It's fantastic.

[00:01:18.010]and then as I go through the day,
[00:01:19.640]we begin every Starbucks meeting with a coffee tasting
[00:01:23.590]and so I might taste three or four small cups
[00:01:27.410]of different varietals throughout the day.
[00:01:29.610]And that's my normal coffee journey.

[00:01:42.420]about six years ago, it's about 9:00 at night, I came home,
[00:01:46.310]June was there and she goes, "well, how was your day?"
[00:01:48.230]I said, "oh, we had a great board meeting"
[00:01:49.760]I said, "we covered this, we did that, and then"
[00:01:52.600]and she goes, "have you been drinking coffee?"
