[00:00:11.200]It's been two years since the doors
[00:00:13.590]of Howard L. Hawks Hall first opened.

[00:00:18.910]The new home for the College of Business
[00:00:21.630]raised our expectations and prompted us
[00:00:24.890]to think differently.
[00:00:26.720]It became the catalyst for a new era
[00:00:29.750]of educating business students at Nebraska.
[00:00:33.600]When we welcomed our new and returning students
[00:00:36.810]at the 7th annual Back to School Bash,
[00:00:39.860]our Nebraska Business community
[00:00:41.910]also met our 14 new faculty.
[00:00:45.200]They include seven new professors in management,
[00:00:48.080]three in accounting, and one in each
[00:00:50.320]of the areas of economics, finance,
[00:00:53.240]marketing, and supply chain management.
[00:00:56.750]They are already making an impact
[00:00:58.930]in the classroom and through their research.
[00:01:02.210]The bash was also a great time
[00:01:04.770]to bring our Nebraska Business community together
[00:01:07.930]and celebrate what we built in the college.
[00:01:12.910]The value of our Master of Science and Finance degree
[00:01:16.260]continues to rise, as it was recently accepted
[00:01:19.690]into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.
[00:01:24.960]Entry into this program signifies our curriculum
[00:01:27.730]as closely tied to the professional practice,
[00:01:30.840]and prepare students to sit for
[00:01:32.910]the Chartered Financial Analyst examinations.

[00:01:38.900]Every student stretches their strengths
[00:01:41.270]here where the philosophy was born.

[00:02:15.400]in law and business, taught by Nebraska Law faculty.
