[00:00:04.850]TCP is a fundamental internet protocol.
[00:00:08.350]You are using TCP when you are checking emails,

[00:00:18.000]We proposed a new TCP,
[00:00:21.080]it's called CUBIC TCP.
[00:00:23.140]by collaborating with two other universities.
[00:00:26.190]And now, the specification of our CUBIC TCP
[00:00:29.170]was accepted and published by IETF.
[00:00:33.030]This IETF is an international organization,
[00:00:35.920]that is in charge of the internet standard
[00:00:38.910]and specifications. So our CUBIC TCP
[00:00:42.520]can achieve a much better performance
[00:00:44.810]than the traditional TCP, and also the
[00:00:48.010]many other TCP protocols. And because of that,
[00:00:51.540]this CUBIC TCP has been adopted by
[00:00:54.680]all the major operating systems.
[00:00:57.280]Our long term goal is to make sure that

[00:01:03.530]but also a reliable internet that you can count on
