CPSWS 2014 - Separating Fact from Myth, Weather Safety Revisited
Description
What started seven years ago as a Weatherfest exhibit, "Hit or Myth" now comes to the main stage. We have all heard common folk wisdom about the weather and its effect on us. Some individuals have held on to these various myths causing them to act dangerously and incorrectly in the face of weather phenomena. However, in this social media age it seems to become ever more increasingly difficult to separate fact from myth.
