Negative Reinforcement
Description
Negative Reinforcement is a strategy for increasing behavior. Some people confuse this with punishment, which is something we use to decrease behavior. If we're using negative reinforcement, what we're doing is taking something away from a student contingent upon a behavior, hoping to make that behavior go up.
