On May 9, 2015, opera singer and University of Nebraska-Lincoln alumna Barbara Hendricks delivered the undergraduate commencement address. In her address, “Homecoming and Thanksgiving,” Hendricks challenged the graduates to rise and meet the world’s challenges.
