CSE Innovation Lab 2011 - 2012: Snowplow - Tracking Lincoln's Snow plow routes

The Snowplow team developed a hardware module that can be used on snow plows to track not only location but also detect when snow plow blades are down. In conjunction, they built a software interface allowing users to track an entire fleet of snow plows, giving instant feedback on plowed routes and fleet efficiency. The team partnered with CSE Faculty member Dr. Mehmet Can Vuran and Dr. Ian Cottingham of Red Brain Inc. as part of their 2011-2012 Senior Design Capstone project through the Department of Computer Science & Engineering's Innovation Lab.
