 It's not an overstatement to say that Agronomy and Horticulture Professor Steve Baenziger helps feed the world. As a wheat breeder, his grain hybrids have greatly improved crop production. More than 65 percent of all the wheat grown in Nebraska comes from varieties developed at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
