Description

Session three of the 2022 Yeutter Institute Symposium held November 2, 2022 in Lincoln, NE. ---- Russia's February 2022 invasion of Ukraine sent shocks through global markets. As the fighting and devastation continues, uncertainty remains high. Our panelists take stock of what we know about the impact of the war on agricultural markets and food security so far, and how the fighting might change the landscape of food security and the movement of agricultural goods for years to come. Featuring: Jason Grant, Virginia Tech; Dalton Henry, US Wheat Associates; Yacob Zereyesus, USDA ERS; and Katrin Kuhlmann, Georgetown University Law Center. This symposium was made possible by the generous support of the CME Group Foundation Symposium.
