On RFD-TV: Justin McMechan
Description
Each year hail damages homes, cars, yards…and crops. Major storms can destroy crops and even minor hail events can leave surviving fields more susceptible to disease and pests. Justin McMechan is an assistant professor of entomology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and also a graduate of UNL’s Doctor of Plant Health program. He leads a UNL team working to better understand the impact of hail on crops and what farmers should do after a storm.
