Sara Bombaci: Advancing inclusion in natural resources education--Insights from a decade of research and practice

Dr. Sara Bombaci is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology at Colorado State University. She conducts research in both conservation biology and diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice (DEISJ), and at the intersection of these two themes. Dr. Bombaci developed a strong interest in fostering greater equity and inclusion in natural resource education early in her career, and continues to leverage research, teaching strategies, and outreach to understand and address barriers to DEISJ in academia. Sara joined the Biennial Conference on University Education in Natural Resources hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in March 2022 for this talk: Advancing inclusion in natural resources education--Insights from a decade of research and practice
