Mike, among his many efforts to work towards zero hunger in Nebraska, is the founder and executive director of Produce from the Heart, a nonprofit that fights food and nutrition security in Nebraska while curbing food waste. He also serves as a lecturer of geography in UNL's School of Global Integrative Studies
