SDG #3 Good Health & Wellbeing: Local Expert Ruaa Hassaballa-Muhammad

In the inaugural expert session for the SDG Scholars Program, we present Ruaa Hassaballa-Muhammad, speaking to Goal #3 Good Health and Wellbeing. As the Project Manager- NE Regional Community Lead on a project titled, Communities Organizing to Promote Equity, Ruaa supports 5 counties in Kansas with addressing health disparities related to the COVID pandemic. Her global leadership experience centers cultural humility in her approach to increasing equitable access to COVID testing and vaccinations for historically resilient populations. She has a Masters in Public Health from the University of Kansas Medical Center and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Behavior Psychology with a concentration in community health and development.
