Lancaster County 4-H Virtual Ag Literacy Festival: Corn & Soybeans

This is Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County’s Virtual Agricultural Literacy Festival corn and soybeans lesson (12 min. 7 sec.). Melissa Bartels, Cropping Systems Educator at Nebraska Extension in Butler and Polk Counties, provides an overview of Nebraska's main two crop industries: corn and soybeans. This lesson highlights these two crops, while also taking a deeper look into the history of how these industries have evolved over time. The Lancaster County Ag Festival is typically held in person each spring, partnering with local schools to reach 4th grade youth.
