Lancaster County 4-H Virtual Ag Literacy Festival: Dairy Cattle

This is Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County’s Virtual Agricultural Literacy Festival dairy lesson (4 min. 59 sec.). This lesson was provided in partnership with the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation. Brooke Engelman, from Classic Dairy Inc. in Jansen, NE provides of an overview of the Dairy industry including milking procedures, nutrition, and recycling methods of water on their farm. The Lancaster County Ag Festival is typically held in person each spring, partnering with local schools to reach 4th grade youth.
