Toshihiro Obata, a Nebraska assistant professor of biochemistry, is investigating a key component of metabolic regulation that will improve scientific understanding of metabolism and the many ways it can go awry. Obata’s work is supported by a five-year, nearly $750,000 Faculty Early Career Development Program award from the National Science Foundation.
