- [00:00:08.363]and I'm the academic advisor for geography,
- [00:00:10.930]which is a major in the School
- [00:00:12.180]of Global Integrative Studies.
- [00:00:14.570]When you major in geography,
- [00:00:16.050]you'll study a science
- [00:00:17.080]that is concerned with the special dimensions
- [00:00:18.700]of human societies and the Earth's environment.
- [00:00:22.060]This discipline is increasingly critical
- [00:00:23.930]to understanding the complexity of global change.
- [00:00:26.890]You can expect to learn about the contributions
- [00:00:29.130]and unique insights that geographers make
- [00:00:31.570]about past, present, and future issues.
- [00:00:34.940]These issues involve natural resources,
- [00:00:37.300]culture, economics, and politics.
- [00:00:40.440]Geography students at Nebraska
